Derek Amey

Derek Amey, Portfolio Manager, is also an Investment Advisor Representative for StrategicPoint. He is a member of StrategicPoint’s Portfolio Management Committee, which manages the firm’s nearly $430 Million in Assets under Management. Derek also serves as a Financial Advisor to clients of the firm, providing investment advice and wealth management to clients.

Derek is a graduate of The University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He holds the FINRA Series 24, 7, 4, 53, 55 and 66 licenses.

Derek appears as a regular guest on WJAR/NBC10's Sunrise Show with Frank Coletta in Southeastern New England. He is currently featured on StrategicPoint’s Making Money Updates on 630AM WPRO and 99.7 FM.  His background includes experience as a Trading Desk Supervisor at Suretrade, Inc. and an Online Product Support Specialist at Quick & Reilly, Inc. Derek is currently a board member of the Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation. He has been with the firm since 2001.
