Historically, women’s circles have provided a safe place for women to gather and exchange ideas and viewpoints. They are seen as a forum that empowers women through the sharing of experiences.
The Women’s Planning Initiative Women’s Circles center on various topics related to finances. Our May Circle will focus on how you can better plan for retirement. The goal is to help you prepare for lifestyle changes that could be required or desired once you (your spouse or partner) leave the workforce.

The Women's Planning Initiative (WPI) is an educational effort focusing on helping women become and stay financially independent. It caters to the unique needs of successful women who often find themselves dealing with the challenges of handling their own finances. The WPI addresses obstacles facing women and empowers them to make more competent, knowledgeable decisions. The WPI was founded in 2009 and is led by Betsey A. Purinton, CFP®, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at StrategicPoint Investment Advisors.
